Enhanced wing reduces pressure

Ergon once again sets a benchmark in ergonomic grip design with the GS1 Evo. Cyclists can look forward to an ergonomic grip with a high-performance wing. Pressures on the hand are distributed evenly and the wrists are supported protecting the sensitive ulnar nerve. Numb fingers and aching hands are a thing of the past.

Say “Good Bye” to pain

If the wrists are bent too much while cycling, the carpal tunnel can be pinched off resulting in a burning pain in the hand or forearm. The GS1 Evo fully supports the wrists. The flexible wing, which is perfectly adapted to the hand, ensures a form fit between the hand and the grip. Hand and wrist pressures are distributed evenly over the wing, relieving the carpal tunnel, and preventing pain.

Two sizes – for individualized control

In order to help you maintain perfect control over your bike, your hands should not completely envelop the grip, which is why Ergon offers many grips in two size diameters – Small and Large. The difference refers to the grip width (hand size), meaning a larger hand will have a more positive fit on a thicker grip, while a smaller hand is better fit to a smaller grip. For hand/glove sizes 6.5 to 8.5 we recommend Small, for 8.5 to 10.5 Large usually is better.

Developed without filler and using medical grade white oil as the only plasticizer. The UV-resistant rubber compound has been developed and is manufactured exclusively for Ergon in Germany. Locked down for safety

The GS Series clamping system is extremely secure and easy to mount. Each grip is tightened with only one bolt to reliably secure its position and to prevent twisting. Another important safety feature is that Ergon’s aluminum clamps are cold forged and not extruded – resulting in a much stronger structure.

The specific rubber compound used in the GS series provides maximum comfort for long distance riding. The grips have just the right amount of flex and support ideally distributing the pressure across your hands.
