About Freeborn Bikes

We specialise in top quality mountain, road and recreational bikes and equipment, with a fully stocked super store in Horsham, West Sussex. We are open 6 days per week and have full workshop facilities. We carry out all aspects of cycle and mountain bike repairs including servicing, custom builds and wheel building.

Online sales

Our online store shows only a small percentage of the stock we hold. Generally, if it is on our site then it is in stock but it’s always worth checking to be sure. Get in touch and we’ll get straight back to you.

Our online sales system is secure, easy to use and very fast with nearly every order being despatched same day.

If you are a customer from outside of the UK please contact us and we will send you detailed information on availability, how to order, shipping costs and delivery times etc.

Store opening hours

Our store is open from 9am to 6pm on Monday to Saturday, and from 11am to 2pm on Bank Holidays. Sunday we are CLOSED to go riding.

Delivery

For orders under £100, we charge £5 delivery.

Order overs £100 are delivered for free to Mainland UK.

Exclusions from the standard delivery charge include: Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands, Channel Islands and Scottish Postcode areas AB33-38, AB41, AB51, DD8-9, DG, FK17-21, HS1-9, IV1-28 IV30-37 IV40-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH15-26, PH30-31, PH33-44, TD, ZE1-3

For shipping costs to these areas please contact us by phone or email.

Most orders are sent out using APC Couriers on a next-day service. A tracking number will be sent to you when we ship your order.

All orders are dispatched as quickly as possible. If there is going to be a delay of more than 5 working days we will contact you. In the unlikely event that an item is out of stock, you will be contacted and given an estimated delivery time. If you are not happy with this we will do all we can to assist you, by either finding you another product or cancelling your order. It is important to us that we get your order to you as quickly as possible but in some cases certain items may not be available. We will always keep you up to date if this is the case. Weekend deliveries are not available.

For orders from outside of the UK mainland please contact us and we will respond to you within 24 hours with detailed order and delivery information. Please note Pivot bikes and frames cannot be shipped outside the UK.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations 2016. “Price beat” conditions

We go beyond price matching and offer ‘price beat’. Here are the conditions:

  1. The online shopping website where you have found the product offered at a cheaper price must have the item in stock.
  2. The product must be new and not damaged, and be identical to our product.
  3. Competitor’s offered price must be accurate, include any taxes and shipping charges, and they must be prepared to sell the item to you at their quoted price.
  4. We will only price beat items offered by UK websites.
  5. We must be able to verify the lower price.
  6. We reserve the right not to price beat for any reason at our discretion.
  7. Our price beat offer is available only prior to purchase. Once we have price beaten that particular item and processed your order, we will not price beat that item again under the same order.
