Another step up the ladder gets you the first build with carbon fibre wheels. Mavic supplies the lighter, higher performance, more exclusive 25mm Allroad Pro Carbon SL wheels fitted with 45mm Maxxis Reaver tyres, and SRAM provide the brakes and Force Etap AXS drivetrain with a 40-tooth chainring and 12-speed, 10-44 cassette. Available with a combination of paint and graphics in Bunker Grey / Fog Grey / Flame Red.
We don’t want to bore you with the details but we think you’ll be interested in this. Stealth Air Carbon is our elite-level carbon fibre construction process. The carbon fibre which makes up an ARID frame is designed, cut and assembled in such a manner that we’ve managed to create the most comfortable, the most vertically compliant fully rigid frame to ever come out of our workshops.
And to top it all off, regardless of its gravel bike label, ARID meets and exceeds the same strict ISO standards as all of our full-on mountain bikes. You see, lateral stiffness and power transfer don’t have to be incompatible with small-bump compliance and comfort.
