About Freeborn Bikes

We specialise in top quality mountain, road and recreational bikes and equipment, with a fully stocked super store in Horsham, West Sussex.

Our store has free parking, you must park in the loading bays directly behind freeborn which is a yellow bay, if unsure please ask us when you get to the stiore,we are open 7 days per week, offers interest free credit and has full workshop facilities. We carry out all aspects of cycle and mountain bike repairs including servicing, custom builds and wheel building.

Online sales

Our online store shows only a small percentage of the stock we hold. Generally, if it is on our site then it is in stock but it’s always worth checking to be sure. Get in touch and we’ll get straight back to you.

Our online sales system is secure, easy to use and very fast with nearly every order being despatched same day.

Frame package prices

We offer the lowest prices possible. Certain items may offer a lower “frame package price”. This lower price is valid when you are buying the item in conjunction with a frameset.

If you are a customer from outside of the UK please contact us and we will send you detailed information on availability, how to order, shipping costs and delivery times etc.

Store opening hours

Our store is open from 9am to 6pm on Monday to Saturday, and from 11am to 4pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Directions (car)

Our Horsham store is situated on the A281 Guildford/Brighton Road.

From the M25, join the M23, proceed past Gatwick Airport, and exit at junction 11 (Pease Pottage, signposted Horsham A264). Follow the A264 towards Horsham where it will join the A24. Leave the A24 at Junction 4 (signposted Broadbridge Heath/Superstore) and follow the signs to Horsham A281. You will find us approximately 1 mile further on, on the right-hand side opposite the KFC. There is free parking at the rear.

Please note that you need to park in a yellow parking bay directly behind freeborn Freshwater Parade. Do not park in the residents parking on the Bishopric Court side (white parking bays) as your vehicle may be clamped!

Directions (train)

Horsham is less than an hour from London Victoria.

When you leave Horsham Station, turn left and follow the signs down the main road to the town centre. From the town centre, proceed along West Street towards McDonalds. Continue past McDonalds to the road and pedestrian crossing. Freeborn is 100m on the left – opposite the KFC.

Bike builds

With years of riding, workshop and custom building experience we can offer the right build, and with our frame package deals we can build it at the right price. We’ll take into account your riding style, location, budget and needs, and give you the best advice going in regards to your new bike.

Delivery

For online orders we offer free delivery to the mainland UK.

Small items are posted by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. Larger items are sent out using APC Couriers on a next-day service. A tracking number will be sent to you when we ship your order.

All orders are despatched as quickly as possible. If there is going to be a delay we will contact you.

If you need an item by the weekend you will need to place your order by Thursday as a Saturday delivery is not always available.

In the unlikely event that an item is out of stock, you will be contacted and given an estimated delivery time. If you are not happy with this we will do all we can to assist you, by either finding you another product or cancelling your order. It is important to us that we get your order to you as quickly as possible but in some cases certain items may not be available. We will always keep you up to date if this is the case.

“Price beat” conditions

We go beyond price matching and offer ‘price beat’. Here are the conditions:

• The online shopping website where you have found the product offered at a cheaper price must have the item in stock.
• The product must be new and not damaged, and be identical to our product.
• Competitor’s offered price must be accurate, include any taxes and shipping charges, and they must be prepared to sell the item to you at their quoted price.
• We will only price beat items offered by UK websites.
• We must be able to verify the lower price.
• We reserve the right not to price beat for any reason at our discretion.
• Our price beat offer is available only prior to purchase. Once we have price beaten that particular item and processed your order, we will not price beat that item again under the same order.

All prices shown on the website are for Credit/Debit Card payment made through our secure online payment system. Interest Free Credit is available on full priced RRP products over £500.
