DT Swiss AG was formed through a management buyout from “Vereinigte Drahtwerke AG” by Marco Zingg, Maurizio D’Alberto and Frank Böckmann, still today the company's three owners.Dedicated to spoke production with 28 employees.Today’s range of hubs accounts for approximately 40 % of the total sale.The first DT Swiss rims were introduced at the new production facility in Biel. DT Swiss is now the first company in the bicycle industry which offers a complete range of components for bicycle wheels.DT Swiss has now started its own carbon production.
