The Specialist is Ellsworth's hardcore hardtail and it is in a league of its own. At a staggeringly low frame weight of 4lbs, the Specialist has a strength to weight ratio never previously seen in an aluminium frame. Handcrafted in Ellworth's own fabrication facility, the Specialist features a custom tubeset, adjustable vertical dropouts and geometry tweaked to accomodate forks from 80-150mm travel.
The Specialist is not a new model. It has been tested and ridden by the likes of John Jesme - One of MTBs first regular backflipping dirtjumpers for many years.
