Info - Mythic Viento
Mythic's morphing geometry allows the Viento to be built up as an x/c or marathon hardtail with a 3 or 4 inch fork or as an all mountain freeride hardtail with forks up to 6”.
Constructed with Mythic's new custom lightweight ½ RAD tube set, the Viento’s chassis is light and solid for blasting through rocky sections and Mythic's exclusive internally ribbed seat and chain stays deliver your power to the ground with authority.
The Viento’s wish bone seat stays incorporate Mythic's unique shock block configuration to soften the ride over rough and sketchy terrain. The Viento’s minimalist cold forged dropouts and asymmetric head tube showcase Mythic's attention to detail.
The Viento can be built up from 22 to 30lb.
3 sizes fit riders from 5’4 to 6’2.
Features
Cold forged asymmetric hourglass head tube:
Light weight yet strong enough to accept up to 5” forks, compatible with deep cup headsets.
Custom triple butted and hydro formed custom half RAD top and down tubes:
Unique tube shapes for a stiff and light weight front triangle, integrated hydro formed gusset for strength at the head tube.
All mountain cockpit geometry:
Comfortable riding position for all day epic rides.
Internally ribbed box section seat and chain stays:
The internal rib increases the lateral stiffness of the rear triangle without compromising vertical compliance. Stiff feels light and efficient because energy robbing frame flex is eliminated. The rider feels more confidence negotiating tricky technical sections.
Cold forged dropouts with replaceable hanger:
Lightweight, compact, 3D design fits all disc brake and derailleur models.
Shock block wishbone seat stay configuration:
Shock block bends reduce vertical shocks and vibrations while the wishbone increases lateral rigidity.
Morphing geometry:
Frame angles and bb height are compatible with forks from 3 to 5 inches.
