The Transition is a heavier duty frame aimed 100% at skatepark, street and for the more aggressive rider. It is built with oversize 4130 Cro-Mo tubing throughout for extra strength.
as with other DMR frames the Transition frame has a heat treated 4130 Cro-Mo front triangle with a large diameter down tube that gives a significant increase in strength and stiffness with minimal weight increase.
The rear 6mm dropouts will take a 14mm axle rear hub like the DMR Revolver 14mm single speed hub but 10mm axle adaptors are included. The rear centre is as short as possible to make it great for manuals and the horizontal dropouts allow adjustment of the wheelbase to suit. Up front the steering is on the quick side with a head angle of 72 degrees - the perfect match for the new Trailblade 2 fork or a short travel MTB fork.
