The original Trailstar was the forerunner and inspiration for a whole new breed of steel frames (and countless alloy clones)
Designed for dirt jumping, BSX and generally having alot of fun. It ws designed back in 1997 when most people were running 80-110mm travel forks. Now there are alot of good quality 125-130mm travel forks on the market DMR have taken all the great bits of the standard Trailstar, tweaked the geometry and created the Trailstar LT (Long Travel)
This makes a great all-rounder and tough trail bike.
In addition to the heat-treated front triangle, the LT gets an improved head tube design with extra material at the base to strengthen the bearing seat. This "no flare" design takes material from elsewhere in the tube so there is no weight penalty for the gain in strength.
