Info - 2008 Mythic Rampant
The “Alpha” development project has refined Mythic Bikes for 2008, and the super fast Rampant is Mythics new 4X Race suspension frame.
Designed specifically to meet the needs of 4X Racers, Rampant has been designed without compromise to ensure you get the hole shot on every gate and smoke the rest of the field in your race!
Rampant has a low centre of gravity, short chain stays and fast handling geometry with firm pedalling VF4B virtual pivot suspension system to out manoeuvre and out sprint the competition.
Rampant has a 1.125” head tube, full-length seat tube and sealed polymer suspension bushings with grease ports and 2-part axles for reduced weight and increased strength.
A new Hydro formed front tube set and rib-reinforced rear tube set reduces weight whilst ensuring that Rampant is tough enough to withstand casing the jumps..
Rampant has 4” of rear suspension travel and gives a 69 degree head angle with 4” forks and 68 degree head angle with 5” forks.
Rampant is Mythic’s first race specific frame, and arguably the finest 4X-racing frame on the market – but it will also make an awesome short travel play bike for UK riders!
Comes with Fox’s latest RP2 Air shock, an aluminium seat post, quick release seat clamp and spare derailleur hanger.

Short has 22.2" top tube, 13.7" seat tube, 41.5" wheelbase.
Long has 23.2" top tube, 14.9" seat tube, 42.5" wheelbase.
both sizes have 16.5" chainstays, take a 30.9mm seatpost, have a 73mm bottom bracket shell width and come with ISCG 05 chain device mounts and 135mm x 10mm Q/R dropouts.
