Info - 2008 Mythic Wildcard
The “Alpha” development project has refined Mythic Bikes for 2008, and the awesome Wildcard is the new Slopestyle suspension frame.
Designed specifically to meet the needs of new school riders, the Wildcard is tough enough to take the abuse dished out on Slopestyle courses, yet the lightest frame in its class to make spins and flips more effortless.
The Wildcard has a low centre of gravity, very low stand over height and fast handling geometry to make it super manoeuvrable and help you fully stretch out your tricks.
The Wildcard has a 1.5” head tube, full-length seat tube, sealed bearings throughout and a brand new Hydro formed front tube set for reduced weight and increased strength.
A “faux-bar” suspension system to provide a firm pedalling bike, and rib-reinforced rear tube set for strength and stiffness to resist over-rotated landings and harsh slams.
The Wildcard has 5” and 6.5” travel settings that alter the geometry to help you find your perfect set up with 5”, 6” or 7” single crown forks.
A Wildcard is the perfect tool for aspiring Slopestyle riders and for the rest of us mere mortals it’s the perfect mid-travel play bike for sessions at Chicksands, Esher Shore and similar riding playgrounds.
The Wildcard comes with the Fox DHX5. Coil or DHX Air shock, a praxys dual-bolt seat post, quick release seat clamp and spare derailleur hanger.
