New for 2008, designs for women (D4W) mountain bikes declare independence on the trail by forming stand-alone families that allow them even more devoted frame and specification tuning. Through these all new Safire, Era and Myka families, every level of female rider can find the perfect machine for her off-road adventures.

Basic Specification

Fox Triad rear shock, custom-tuned for the Safire, with on-the-fly 3-position damping: lockout, open or ProPedal, plus adjustable rebound.

An adjustable Fox Talas RL fork allows the rider to pick their level of travel: 140, 120 or 100mm, complete with compression/rebound adjust and lockout.

Custom Shimano crankset is light, stiff and shifts smooth in every condition.

The custom DT Swiss rims and DT Swiss stainless spokes are superior in weight and class. Exclusive to Specialized.

Only available in the bronze/black colour as seen in the picture.
