Mythic’s extreme freeride workhorse – the Scythe
The Scythe captures the spirit of toughness, and is the spiritual successor of the Mythic Scream and Chaparral.
The Scythe is the perfect tool for hardcore freeriders who want to stomp big drops and ride technical trails.
Scythe riders are not interested in endless discussions about tyre compounds and gear ratios – they just want to pin downhill trails, clear gaps and hit drops on a tough & reliable bike.
Everything on this frame is engineered to let you ride hard, withstand the elements, all with minimal maintenance.
You dont need treat this bike with any respect, but you can always count on it to get you home.
- Full complement sealed cartridge bearings on all pivots.
- Full-length seat tube for full seat height adjustment – a must for a true freeride frame.
- Travel: 7” / 8” adjustable travel with DH or Freeride settings.
- Custom hydroformed 7005 aluminium alloy tubeset.
- Supplied with alloy seatpost, seatclamp and spare derailleur hanger.
